Annecy has long been the home of animation, and in recent years it has also become a meeting point for immersive work. This spotlight brings together conversations with the creators behind the XR projects presented at Annecy 2026. They talk about their process, the ideas that drive their work, and what it means to tell stories in a space you can step into.

Two new interviews are published every week. You will read about the 10 works selected for competition, plus a special selection of three XR projects from the MIFA Pitch competition.
